Trek Overview
Har Ki Dun, translates to the "Valley of Gods". It is one of the oldest and most legendary trekking trails in the Himalayas, steeped in the rich mythology of the Mahabharata. It is believed that the Pandavas took this exact route to ascend to heaven via the Swargarohini Peak, which forms a majestic backdrop to the valley.
Unlike steep summit treks, Har Ki Dun is a stunning valley trek. You walk alongside the Supin river, passing through ancient villages like Osla and Gangad, where time seems to have stood still. The trail features wooden houses, rich local culture, vast green meadows, and dense alpine forests. It is an absolute delight for nature lovers and photographers.
