Important: travelling in the Himalayas involves unpredictable weather and terrain. By booking with Alpine Hikes, you agree to the safety and cancellation conditions below.

1. Booking and payments

• Yatras by road: 25% of the package cost confirms your booking, 50% is paid on arrival on day one, and the last 25% on the final day of the yatra.
• Helicopter yatras: 50% confirms your booking and the balance is due 15 days before departure. Full payment is required before travel.
• Helicopter shuttle tickets and VIP puja receipts booked for you separately need 100% advance payment, as per Government and aviation rules.

2. Cancellation policy

• More than 30 days before travel: 20% of the total cost is deducted.
• 15 to 30 days before travel: 50% of the total cost is deducted.
• Less than 15 days: no refund.
• Helicopter yatras follow their own cancellation terms, shown on each helicopter package page.
• Refunds for helicopter flights cancelled because of weather follow the aviation company's policy.

3. Acts of God and weather delays

The Himalayan region is prone to landslides and sudden weather changes. Alpine Hikes may change the itinerary for your safety. Any extra hotel or travel cost caused by natural calamities or roadblocks is paid directly by the traveller on the spot.

4. Jurisdiction

All disputes arising from a booking are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
