Terms & Conditions

Important: Traveling in the Himalayas involves unpredictable weather and terrain. By booking with Alpine Hikes, you agree to the safety and cancellation conditions laid out below.

1. Booking & Payments

  • A minimum advance payment of 40% of the total package cost is required to confirm the booking.
  • Helicopter tickets and VIP Pooja receipts require 100% advance payment as per Government / Aviation guidelines.
  • The remaining balance must be cleared on Day 1 of the journey before departure from the base location.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • 30+ Days prior to travel: 20% of the total cost will be deducted.
  • 15 to 30 Days prior to travel: 50% of the total cost will be deducted.
  • Less than 15 Days: Strictly No Refund.
  • Helicopter Tickets: Refunds for cancelled heli-flights (due to weather) are strictly governed by the respective aviation company's policy.

3. Acts of God & Weather Delays

The Himalayan region is highly prone to landslides and sudden weather shifts. Alpine Hikes reserves the right to modify the itinerary for your safety. Any extra hotel/travel costs incurred due to natural calamities or roadblocks shall be borne directly by the client on the spot.

4. Jurisdiction

All disputes arising out of the booking shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
