Registration with the Uttarakhand government is compulsory for every yatri, and free. Here is every way to do it, what you need and who to call.

Four ways to register

Official website
Create an account with your mobile number and add every traveller on the portal.

Mobile app
The "Tourist Care Uttarakhand" app (Android and iPhone) does the same registration.

Online registration, step by step
- Open the official portal or app and sign up with your mobile number.
- Log in with the OTP and use "Add traveller" to enter each member's name, age and ID details.
- Choose your travel dates and the Dhams you will visit.
- Download the registration letter with QR code — one for every member.
- Carry the letter (on your phone or printed) and your original ID — it is checked at every Dham.

- A valid photo ID for every traveller (Aadhaar, passport, voter ID)
- A working mobile number
- Your travel dates
- Passport for foreign / NRI travellers
Good to know
- Every person in a group is registered separately — children too.
- Register early in peak season; counter queues can be long.
- You can also collect a Dham darshan slot token on the portal.
- Yatris aged 50+ should carry a recent health check-up report.
- Kedarnath helicopter tickets are separate and sold only on IRCTC HeliYatra.
