Trek Overview
The Valley of Flowers is one of the most beautiful and mesmerizing national parks in the country, situated at an altitude of 3,658 m in the Bhyundar valley of Uttarakhand's Chamoli district. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, it is famous for its wide variety of flora including Alpine flowers, Vajardanti, Marsh Marigold, and Shomalap.
Part of the Nanda Devi Biosphere Zone, the valley is also home to rare fauna like the Asiatic black deer, snow leopard, musk deer, and blue sheep.
