This trek is curated keeping in mind the wishes of people who love the serenity as well as the adventure that nature offers. Popular for its spectacular views of snow-capped mountains, you can spot the Black Peak, Swargarohini, Gangotri, and Yamunotri ranges right from the summit.

Detailed Itinerary
Dehradun to Kotgaon (Sankri)
Drive: 190 KM | Time: 6-7 Hrs | Alt: 1920m
Pick up from Dehradun Railway Station. The drive is picturesque passing through Rajpur Road, Mussoorie (Queen of Hills), Kamptifall (Breakfast stop), and Purola (Lunch stop) along the beautiful Yamuna and Tons rivers. Overnight stay at a Home Stay in Kotgaon/Sankri.
Sankri to Juda ka Talab
Trek: 4 KM | Time: 3-4 Hrs | Alt: 2700m
After breakfast, begin your trek from Sankri. The trail is one of the easiest to enjoy thick snow cover. Reach the stunning frozen lake, Juda Ka Talab. Overnight stay in camps.
Juda ka Talab to Kedarkantha Base Camp
Trek: 3.5 KM | Time: 2-3 Hrs | Alt: 3200m
A short but beautiful trek today. Walk through snowy trails to reach the Kedarkantha Base Camp. Rest up and prepare your gear for tomorrow's early morning summit push. Overnight stay in camps.
Base Camp to Summit & Return to Sankri
Trek: 4 KM | Time: 2-3 Hrs | Alt: 3800m
Start very early to catch the sunrise. Reach the Kedarkantha Summit (3800m) and witness breathtaking views of the Himalayan ranges. Safely descend all the way back to Kotgaon (Sankri) for an overnight homestay.
Sankri to Dehradun (Departure)
Drive: 190 KM | Time: 6-7 Hrs
After breakfast, say goodbye to the mountains. Drive back via the same scenic route. You will be dropped off at Dehradun. The beautiful journey ends here.

Trek FAQ's
Electricity & Network?
No electricity in the forest (we use solar/strobe lights). Last charging point is Sankri. Jio works well, BSNL works best at Sankri but is unpredictable.
ATM Availability?
The last available ATM is in Dehradun or Purola. Please withdraw cash before leaving Dehradun.
Reporting Time?
You must reach Dehradun by 5:00 AM - 7:00 AM on the starting day of the trek for pickup.
