Day 1Haridwar to Guptkashi
Leave Haridwar at 8 AM and drive along the Ganga and Mandakini, stopping at the Devprayag confluence. Check in at Guptkashi by evening.

Day 2Trek to Kedarnath
Early start for Sonprayag. From Gaurikund, walk the 16 km trail — on foot, pony or palki. Evening aarti and a night at the Dham.

Day 3Abhishek & descent
Attend the early morning abhishek, visit Bhairav Nath temple for a view over the whole valley, then trek down and drive back to Guptkashi.

The legend
After the Mahabharata war, the Pandavas sought Shiva's forgiveness. He hid from them as a bull; where his hump emerged from the earth stands Kedarnath, the highest of the twelve Jyotirlingas.
Adi Shankaracharya revived the shrine, and his samadhi lies just behind the temple. He established the four Dhams by the age of 32.
Questions
Is registration mandatory, and do you handle it?
Yes, biometric registration with the Uttarakhand government is compulsory for every yatri. When you travel with us, we complete the registration for your whole group.
Can Kedarnath helicopter tickets be booked through you?
Helicopter tickets can only be booked on the official IRCTC HeliYatra portal — beware of websites asking for advance payment. We guide you through the IRCTC booking and arrange pick-up and drop at the helipad.
How do I book, and how much do I pay upfront?
Share your dates and group size, and we send a day-by-day itinerary with a clear quote. A 25% advance confirms vehicles and hotels, 50% is paid on arrival in Haridwar and the last 25% before the final drop.
Is the yatra comfortable for elderly parents?
With the right pacing, yes. We plan shorter driving days, rest stops and pony, palki or helicopter options for the Kedarnath trek, and keep a yatra manager in touch with the family throughout.
